    Questions&Answers

Q1: How sturdy is this stand? My eBike is about 60lbs which is right on the edge of the limit?

A1: My bike is only 24 lbs, so I can’t absolutely say whether it will hold 60 lbs, but it seems really sturdy. The legs have a wide stance so it’s unlikely to tip over with the weight.

Q2: What is the weight limit?

    A2: I have a 20 pound bike but I've used a heavier bike I would say about 50-60 pounds.

Q3: Are the clamps that holds the bike in place metal or plastic?

A3: There is a 25cm (10in) metal tube that has a VERY well made and solid clamp device that is plastic and hold almost any shape bike (or other stuff) . The clamp opens as wide as 6cm at the tips and 8cm inside the V's. The tube is secured to the vertical post with another solid plastic clamp with large blue knobs.

Q4: what kind of materials are made for this stand?

A4: I would only trust using it for aluminum, and steel, I wouldn't use it for carbon fiber bike. Also not a big fan of this stand, bike spins on you and the screw knob on clamp little aggravating. Spend little extra and get a little better stand.

    Buy this

This is a great value compared to some others. Very sturdy and easy to use, lots of adjustments. I also use it for other purposes such as chainsaws and weed whackers.

    Good, not perfect

Like many, I was attracted to the great value of this stand, and it's a lot nicer than the one I replaced it with. I've seen complaints that it is very big when the legs are folded out, but that is why this stand is not going to tip over on you when you have to apply some force to something stubborn you are wrenching on your bike. It folds back to a size that hangs on the garage wall neatly, so the footprint while in use doesn't bother me. I've read complaints that the arm can spin, and yes, the clamp where the arm tube is connected to the vertical post can't be tightened enough to hold a bike level. Like a lot of cool things I buy cheap, I'll be getting additional hardware to modify it. On a positive note, the clamp that holds your bike can adjust to grab it horizontally or vertically at pretty much any point on your frame you want, so you can hold the bike without pinching the cables you might want to be tuning. Like other buyers, I'm slightly baffled by the extra stabilizer bar. Maybe that was tossed in to compensate for the lousy clamp mentioned before. I'll be replacing a fork and headset soon on my winter bike and I'll be glad to have this heavy stand with a stable base to hold it during surgery.

Just what I needed to make working on my MTB bike easy to work on. I have used it a number of times and it makes working so much easier. Strong and sturdy enough to keep my bike where I need it when cleaning and making adjustments.
