Yaheetech Flight Cage For Cockatiels

I bought this cage for my little zebra finches. It was difficult to get put together and took 2 people to put it together and several hours because of gaps and discrepencies in the design. It took 2 of us to get the cage to fit onto the little pins on the stand. I had to spent a lot of time modifying the structure to prevent my little birds from getting feet or heads caught in the gaps and the wide opening on the top and below the door that they could try to get out of. The paint peels off easily with repeated opening and closing of doors. I do not think the wire (nonremovable) grate is a safe place for tiny birds. Little legs could get caught or mangled. We had to come up with a material to put in on top of the grate to make it safe. Then I had to buy a stack of paper to fit, so I could just stack papers up and remove them each day, as you can't pull out the grate to clean it. More thought should be put into this cage for the safety of the birds. The pro is that it is rectangular and 30 inches long, allowing for more flight for my finches and more room for their toys and perches than they had in a smaller cage.

At last a horizontal cage for budgies thats affordable! I really like this cage! It is very easy to assemble. I do wish it had side windows for feed bowls and/or breeding box.

Its very big and decent for the price but its not very sturdy plus theres also random bigger gaps like on the door of mine it doesnt completely go into place? Its not a problem for me but still not that well made
